Melicia “Lisi” Coleman received a BSN/RN at McNeese State University and has worked in the Home Health field for 20 years in various clinical and administrative capacities. She currently serves as the CEO for Evangeline Home Health, a 43 year old, non profit home health agency in South Louisiana and as the President-Elect for the Homecare Association of Louisiana.
In 1997, she developed HomeSight, a clinically-driven low vision rehabilitiation program for the home health population.
Ms. Coleman has previously received the State Award of Appreciation from the Louisiana Occupational Therapy Association “for her perseverance, vision, and willingness to help others” and has additionally been honored by NurseWeek magazine as a nominee for the Nurse Excellence Award in Innovation and Creativity in recognition for her development of HomeSight.
HomeSight is currently provided by home health partners in several states and is currently working on a grant with Dr. Robert Massof of Johns Hopkins University to improve the delivery of low vision education to the home health industry.
Guy graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in psychology and is licensed as a Social Worker, Counselor, and Home Health Administrator by the State of Texas. He has worked in various administrative positions in hospitals, treatment centers, and agencies over the past 25 years. After 8 years with Memorial Hermann Healthcare Systems in Houston, Guy joined the HomeSight organization in 2003 where he holds the position of Chief Operating Officer. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Healthcare Executive Group of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Guy is also Director of Research and Development at Evangeline HomeHealth where he coordinates the Comparison of Low Vision Outcome Measures Study with the Wilmer Eye Institute/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Jeff joins the HomeSight and LiveAbility team as a sales and customer representative with over 20 years of health care experience. He became a Respiratory Therapist in 1994 and has a diverse background which includes direct patient care as well as sales and marketing for a variety of provider types including DME, Oxygen and home health. Jeff is the owner of SleepOx, LLC where he provides oxygen and sleep apnea products and services to patients in south Louisiana.
